One of few places in the whole world where evidence of the earliest human existence has been found, Halong Bay is known as one of the cradles of mankind. The ancient geographical makeup of the area, and the ancient civilizations that lived amongst it, have shaped the culture of Halong Bay today. For lovers of history and culture, Halong Bay offers a never-ending story mixing scientific fact and age-old legend. Here are a few of the best places to see and things to do for all the culture vultures visiting Halong Bay.

Cai Bau Pagoda is also known as Truc Lam Giac Tam Zen Monastery, which has now become an attractive destination for spiritual tourism in HaLong Bay. Cai Bau Pagoda is considered as one of the extremely attractive tourist destinations. Tourists should visit this temple when traveling to Van Don - Ha Long.

Loi Am Pagoda is a famous place with landscapes that are charming, sacred and equally ancient. Loi Am Pagoda in Dai Yen ward in Halong city, Quang Ninh, visitors to the temple must sit on the boat for about 15 minutes and then walk along the slope to the temple. Moreover, the most interesting and attractive thing about Loi Am pagoda is the feeling when people stop standing in front of the temple.

Loi Am Pagoda is located in the center area of Halong city which is about some kilometers far from National Highway No. 18. Being near an artificial lake called Yen Lap, this special pagoda is one of the most ideal places for you to visit in Halong. The special thing is that although this pagoda is visited by a lot of tourists every day, it still remains unchanged the peace and quietness with a few boats and small stalls. In particular, Loi Am Pagoda is very holy for local people.

Dong pagoda also has Thien Truc Tu (Buddhist pagoda), located on Yen Tu (1,068m). Dong pagoda (Yen Tu) has been recognized by Trung Tam Book of Vietnam record as the largest and highest bronze pagoda in the country. This is also well since the temple is being ranked as unique in the world, considered as a "new wonder" in the Yen Tu scenic area.

The pagoda is located on Chengdu Mountain. The temple is located at 340m in a very beautiful location in the west of Uong Bi City, in front of Bach Dang Giang, winding far away from the port city of Hai Phong. . On the left are the mountains of Thanh Long similar messages, on the right is the White Tiger Mountain range down the majestic.

The temple lies on a hill about 100m high overlooking Bai Tu Long bay in the south. Il has two sides and two small hills. Behind the temple is a green mountain range running through Cam Pha and Mong Duong. In front of the Upper temple, there is a three-door temple. On the left is a house for visitors to the ceremony and enter the temple. On the right is a pagoda and behind is Tran Quoc Tang tomb. Inside the Upper temple, there are 34 intricately carved statues.
